The NOPREN Coordinating Center is based at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and led by Dr. Hilary Seligman, expert in the health impact of food insecurity across the life course, and her team. Since 2014, the UCSF Coordinating Center has served as NOPREN's administrative home and liaison between CDC and network members.

The NOPREN Coordinating Center supports the network in advancing nutrition policy research and evaluation by: 

• Providing strategic direction across the network and its work groups
• Fostering networking and collaboration
• Engaging the next generation of nutrition policy researchers
• Facilitating expert-led information-sharing 
• Supporting the work groups in conducting policy-relevant research and translation
