Food Insecurity, Chronic Disease, and Health Among Working-Age Adults

Read the USDA ERS’ report that finds that food insecurity is closely linked with chronic disease and self-assessed health. In some cases, food insecurity is more closely related to chronic disease, than is income. They also found that examining the full range of food security status (high, marginal, low and very low food security status) is important as there are meaningful differences in health status across these categories.
